Pablo snus has become one of the most searched-for names in nicotine pouches, largely because of its very high strengths. Despite the name, Pablo pouches are not traditional snus: they are tobacco-free nicotine pouches. This guide explains the Pablo range, how strong each line is, and who it is (and is not) suitable for.
What is Pablo snus?
Pablo is a brand of all-white, tobacco-free nicotine pouches. The pouches contain plant fibre, nicotine and flavourings rather than tobacco leaf. People often call them “Pablo snus” because nicotine pouches are used the same way as Swedish snus, placed under the upper lip, but the product itself contains no tobacco. If you are new to the difference, read our guide to snus vs nicotine pouches.
The three Pablo lines we stock
| Line | Nicotine per pouch | Flavours we stock |
|---|---|---|
| Pablo Silver Edition | 10.5 mg | Pear |
| Pablo Gold Edition | 17 mg | Cola, Dark Cherry, Frosted Mint, Passion Fruit, Pineapple, Strawberry Kiwi, White Mint |
| Pablo Exclusive | 50 mg | Frosted Ice, Kiwi, Pear |
All figures are taken from the product information for the items in our Pablo range.
Pablo Silver Edition (10.5 mg)
The Silver Edition is the most moderate Pablo product we sell. At 10.5 mg per pouch it is still a strong pouch by general standards, comparable with the stronger versions of many mainstream brands. The Pablo Silver Edition Pear has a smooth, sweet pear flavour.
Pablo Gold Edition (17 mg)
The Gold Edition is the core Pablo line. At 17 mg per pouch it sits in the extra strong band, above the strongest versions of most mainstream brands. It comes in a range of flavours, from cola and dark cherry to frosted mint and tropical fruit.
Pablo Exclusive (50 mg)
The Exclusive line is extremely strong at 50 mg of nicotine per pouch. That is several times the strength of a typical nicotine pouch. It is aimed only at very experienced users of high-strength pouches. If you have not used strong pouches before, this is not a product to start with.
How Pablo compares with other brands
To put the numbers in context, here is how Pablo compares with other ranges in our shop (mg per pouch):
- ZYN: about 3 to 16.5 mg
- VELO: about 4 to 17 mg
- LOOP: about 6 to 15 mg
- CUBA: 10 mg, 16 mg (White) and about 43 mg (Black)
- Pablo: 10.5 mg, 17 mg and 50 mg
Our nicotine pouch strength guide explains these bands in more detail.
Who is Pablo suitable for?
Pablo is designed for experienced nicotine users who already use strong pouches. If you are switching from a regular-strength product, a lower-strength brand is a much better starting point. Signs that a pouch is too strong for you include feeling dizzy, nauseous or uncomfortable; if that happens, remove the pouch.
Pablo flavours in more detail
Mint and ice: White Mint is a clean, straightforward mint, while Frosted Mint and Exclusive Frosted Ice add a strong cooling effect. Cooling flavours can make a pouch feel even more intense, which matters at Pablo’s strength levels.
Fruit: Dark Cherry is deep and sweet, Strawberry Kiwi is bright and tangy, Pineapple and Passion Fruit are tropical, and the Silver and Exclusive Pear are soft and sweet. Kiwi appears in the Exclusive line.
Cola: the Gold Edition Cola has a classic sweet cola taste. Sweet flavours can mask how strong a pouch is, so do not judge the strength by the taste.
Using strong pouches responsibly
- Never use a strong pouch as your first nicotine product.
- Do not use more than one strong pouch at a time.
- Remove the pouch if you feel dizzy, nauseous, sweaty or unwell.
- Keep cans away from children and pets; nicotine is toxic if swallowed.
- Nicotine products are not suitable for non-users, people under the legal age, or people who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
